Frodo Baggins is a hobbit, the main character in J.R.R. Tolkien’s famous trilogy, The Lord of the Rings. Hobbits are a fictional race of small, human-like creatures known for their love of peace, good food, and comfortable lives in the Shire.

Frodo inherits a magic ring, the One Ring, from his cousin Bilbo Baggins. This ring is evil and threatens all of Middle-earth. Frodo embarks on a perilous quest to destroy the One Ring in the fires of Mount Doom, the only place where it can be unmade. He is accompanied by a fellowship of friends and faces many dangers along the way.
