Which Streaming Services Offers You The Best Choices? | 5 Of The Excellents

There are plenty excellent streaming services right now that you can watch your favorites shows on them and all of the platforms offer an impressive selection of movies and television shows, but which is better value for money? To figure out who wins this battle, we’ll compare 5 of best platforms on price, user interface, content, and special features here to determine which offers the best value for your money.

Netflix The One & Only Powerful

    Netflix streaming service

Netflix is the streaming giant that spent years at the top, overlooking the other players far into the distance. In other word Netflix is the gold standard for streaming, the top TV and movie service in the world. It is still the leading premium streaming service, with over 200 million worldwide subscribers!  And has a simple user interface that focuses on your entertainment preferences.

Netflix recommends content based on your watch history. There is a good point here is When you launch the Netflix app, the platform immediately suggests a title it thinks you will enjoy, based on your past viewing choices. And also during the holidays, like Halloween and Christmas, Netflix will display content to help you get in the spirit. Which it is a good point!

Now the question is how much is Netflix per month? First, you should know that Netflix no longer offers a free trial. Also in the realm of “bad news” is the fact that Netflix is known for hiking up the subscription price.

I also call the Netflix the life-saver, because of its helping rule during the years. There are many great shows that get canceled before fans want to see them go. Luckily, Netflix saved these shows from the same fate. Series like Lucifer, Manifest, You and The Killing.

Disney Plus The Fantasy Disney-Owned World

    Disney Plus Streaming service

Disney+ is Disney’s streaming platform. It offers access to content from various Disney-owned franchises, including Marvel, Star Wars, and Pixar. Disney+ also has TV shows and movies like The Simpsons and more from its acquisition of 21st Century Fox.

Disney+ has categories like Hit Movies, Trending, Originals, and Collections. It also recommends programming to you based on your watch history. Each profile can have its content rating adjusted, except the kids profile.

Like Netflix, Disney+ doesn’t offer free trials, but you can cancel your subscription at any time. There are two subscription packages available for Disney+ members to choose from: Disney+ Monthly and Disney+ Yearly. Regardless of how you want to pay for Disney+, you’ll get access to the same perks, including the ability to watch content on up to four devices simultaneously. How ever Disney+ is far more affordable than Netflix, offering more perks for a low price.

Like Netflix, Disney+ has a holiday section that includes many of your Disney holiday favorites like The Muppet Christmas Carol and The Nightmare Before Christmas, which is a big deal.

HBO MAX The New Version OF HBO

    HBO MAX Streaming Service

HBO Max is the biggest Netflix competitor to launch since Disney Plus. It has everything on “standard” HBO, its own exclusives and originals such as Peacemaker, Our Flag Means Death and The Flight Attendant, and a big back catalog of favorite shows including Friends, The Big Bang Theory, Rick and Morty and the very brand new series House Of The Dragon..

Which Streaming Services Offers You The Best Shows? | Which One Should You Pick?

The first thing to know about HBO Max is that it has everything on HBO. That includes not only Game of Thrones but every newer show, including Euphoria, Winning Time and The Gilded Age In terms of back catalog. HBO Max wins for familiarity and big names: It leans heavily on shows like Friends, South Park and Doctor Who, as well as HBO favorites including Games of Thrones, Sesame Street and The Sopranos.

HBO Max is expensive. There are two plans: $10 with ads and $15 for the ad-free version. Most subscribers will likely choose the $15 option, as the cheaper subscription does not include downloads for offline viewing or 4K streaming.

Apple TV Plus A Very Brand New Streaming Service

    Apple TV Plus Streaming Sevice

Apple TV Plus launched in November 2019, which is a young platform in the streaming world. It offers a small but growing number of high-end TV shows and movies for $4.99 a month and competes directly against all the other video streaming services, including Netflix. Apple TV Plus has quickly become a major player in the streaming game since its launch in 2019. Its slate of original programming includes shows like Ted Lasso, See, The Morning Show, Foundation, and For All Mankind as well as movies like The Banker, Greyhound, and Palmer.

This popular platform is available via the Apple TV app for iOS and Mac devices, as well as Apple TV boxes. The app is also available on new Samsung smart TVs, and people who use the Safari, Firefox, and Chrome browser can access Apple TV Plus content on a website: tv.apple.com. Apple also launched its TV app for Roku and Amazon Fire TV smart sticks, set-top boxes, and smart TVs.

And how about the price? Apple TV Plus definitely has a rock-bottom price for its service. It costs just $4.99 a month, with a seven-day free trial.

Hulu is A Pure American Kind of Platform

    Hulu Streaming Service

Hulu is one of the original names in video-on- demand (VOD) streaming. The streaming giant is no stranger to adapting to maintain an edge in the streaming wars, and in 2019 it joined forces with Disney. Hulu’s tier system means there is a plan for everybody. Consisting of its basic ad-supported, No-Ads, Live TV, and Live TV with No Ads models, Hulu can either supplement other subscriptions you have or serve as your primary TV source.

Hulu is known for its immense catalog of licensed shows and movies, like American Ultra, Creed II, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Myth Busters, The Beach Bum, and the new brand series Tell Me Lies an American drama streaming television series created by Meaghan Oppenheimer which is the latest show that now is streaming on the platform.

Streaming Service, HBO Max, Apple TV, Hulu, Netflix

But even though its collection of original content does not come close to Netflix’s, it has still produced award-winning projects in The Handmaid’s Tale and The Beatles: Eight Days A Week — The Touring Years. Thanks to its new association with Disney, upcoming Marvel and Fox series and movies will filter through Hulu’s catalog.

why do I call this platform pure American? because Huluis only available in the US (and US military bases). By the looks of it, it won’t make its way to other markets anytime soon, on the other hand,  Netflix is available in most parts of the world — you can subscribe to the service in more than 190 countries.

If you live in Canada, Europe, Australia, or any other country outside the US, Netflix is your best bet. Sure, there are ways to get access to Hulu in these markets, but it’s probably not worth the hassle for most people. That’s because you need a credit or debit card issued by a financial institution based in the US to sign up for the streaming service.
